| JSM-P: Kashmiri leaders always remain bias towards Jammuties | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 1 President Jammu State Morcha Progressive (JSM-P), Prof. Virendar Gupta while addressing a youth rally at Ranjana in Nagrota constituency criticized the working of respective governments both at state and centre which always remain bias towards Jammu people, and ignored the aspirations of common people. He said these leaders always opposed the demands of Jammu for its due representation in the state assembly, in the civil secretariat in other state services, in the allocation of state as well as central funds for the development of Jammu region. He said Jammu youth are facing a serious problems of unemployment and the rural population of the region which is mostly unemployed or underemployed finding it difficult to earn their lively hood. The unemployed engineers have been sitting on dharna for more than a year without getting any positive response from the govt. the present govt. is only worried about the valley. No steps are being taken to provide job opportunities and emphasized that people of Jammu region shall be made to suffer and oppressed by the ruling class of the valley so long the region remains part of Jammu And Kashmir State. The government of India shall ignore them to please Kashmiris and shall always turn its deaf ear to the genuine issues concerning the people of the region. Morcha leaders criticized Mehbooba Mufti prompting Asif Ali Zardari, the co-president of Pakistan people party and the newly appointed prime minister of Pakistan to indulge in Kashmir affairs and not allow the peace to prevail in the valley so that these leaders can exploit the situation for their vested interests. The leaders of the JSM (P) were also critical of the stand taken by Omar Abdullah seeking Pakistan support for the resolution of Kashmir problems. The leaders were silent about the plight of the people residing in Pakistan occupied part of Jammu and Kashmir State including those of Gilgit and Skardu and did not talk abot the solution of that part of state. The solution suggested by Mehbooba Mufti amounts to creation of another independent country out of India forcing the exodus of minorities and other secular minded people from Jammu and Kashmir state. The solution asks the state government and the Government of India to take cognizance of their utterances and initiate appropriate action. It also call upon the Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad who is sharing power with PDP to clear his stand on the issues and ask its ally in the government to keep restrain and resist from such statements.
