| Extension in contractual appointments made under SRO 255 of 2003 | | | Early Times Reporter

Government has sanctioned extension in the contractual appointments made under Jammu and Kashmir (Contractual Appointment) Rules, 2003 by a further period of six months w.e.f. 01.04.2008 to 30.09.2008 or till the regular selections are made by the recruiting agencies, whichever is earlier. The terms and conditions of the appointees shall be the same as contained in their initial contractual appointment order.
The order says that the contractual appointees shall execute a fresh contract with the appointing authorities where the previous contractual period has come to an end. In case of the contractual appointees, where the period of contract will come to an end after 31st March 2008, the period of contract in the fresh agreement shall be restricted upto 30th September 2008 subject to the conditions as stipulated above. |
