| Karate team bags runner up trophy in North India C’hip | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | April 1 J&K Karate Team bagged Runner-up trophy in North India Championship held at Ambala from 29-30 March. More than 250 students from various states participated in the championship. From J&K 15 players have participated in the competition under the supervision of Karate coach Sunny Nanda. DC Ambala was the chief guest on the occasion and distributed medals and trophies among the winners of the championship. Sunny Nanda was also bagged Best Team Coach trophy. The list of the medal winners include Karan Sharma, Payal Singh, Mohit Choudhary bagged Gold Medals. While Arjun Saskhi ,Gurmukh, Manu, Aashwar Dubey and Amrit Raj shared silver medal. Bhupinder Atul, Bhupesh and Pankaj won Bronze medal. The winners have been selected for the national championship to be heldon April month at New Delhi. |
