| Sky rocketing prices making lives miserable: Jaswant | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 2 Senior BJP leader Jaswant Gupta, while addressing a public rally at Chatta here today, said that un-precedent price hike has made the life of common man miserable, and the government both at centre and state have failed to check it. He said the UPA Government at the centre is responsible for increasing the rates of essential commodities which has brought people on the brink of starvation. Gupta exhorted the people to remain vigilant against the anti-social elements in the state who are hand in glow with the politicians and other agencies in the government to create problems. He strongly condemned the cow slaughtering in the state which is banned since the regime of Maharaja Gulab Singh, but some unscrupulous people are engaged in this trade and are minting money. S. Harmohinder Singh Mahant who was the chief guest also addressed the gathering. Others who spoke were M.P Singh Sambyal, Vijay Sharma, S. Prem Singh, K.C. Singh Mehta, Balbir Singh Soodan and Rajinder Kumar. |
