| PSU employees urge CM to redress grievances | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 4 All Public Sector Employees and Workers Federation have urged upon the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to redress the grievances of the PSU employees in light of agreement made by the government with the federation. Jagmohan Sadhotra, chairman PSU federation while addressing a meeting of the workers said government had promised the deputation of federation led by Abdul Qayum Wani, that within 15 days demands will be fulfilled, but except releasing two months salary of the workers, other demands are still pending. Consequent upon the luke warm attitude of the government the PSU federation has further appeal chief minister and Dy Chief Minister to intervene into the matter to redress the grievances of PSU employees by implementing the commitment before Baisakhi festival. “Otherwise they would be left with no option other than to come to the streets,” he said. The president of the federation S. Amrik Singh Sasan speaking in the meeting assured full support to the proposed programme of employees join action committee including demonstration and rally on April 15. The other participates, who spoke in the meeting includes Abdul Manan Bhat, Nar Singh, P.P Singh, Mohd. Yaseem, Abdul Qayum Bhat, Karm Chand, Karan Singh, Onkar Sharma, Rakesh Ram Pal, Arun Tonden, Tejinder Singh, Mohd. Iqbal, Ashok Gupta, Baldev Raj and others. |
