| Name bridge over Chenab after Hansraj: AJSP | | | Early Times Reporter

Kamal Suri, president Awami Jan Shakti Party (AJSP) has appealed to the chief Minster, Ghulam Nabi Azad, that the second bridge constructed over river Chenab at Akhnoor be named after Sher-e-Duggar Lala Hansraj Mahajan.
Addressing the party workers, Suri said Lalji during his life time had tirelessly worked for the upliftment of common people of the state. He was the instrumental in supplying drinking water to Kandi belt and was great social reformer. Naming bridge after him will be a great tribute in his memory as he was born here.
The meeting was attended Vimal Gandotra, Ashwani Sharma, Amit Gupta chain Singh, Ravi Kumar, Sanjay Dogra and Sunil Kumar. |
