| PSU pays tributes to freedom fighters | | | Early Times Reporter

To pay tribute to the martyrs, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, Panthers Students Union (PSU) organized a programme at Rajinder Singh auditorium.
In this connection a musical event was also held in which various singers sung patriotic songs to pay tribute to these legends.
Earlier recalling the sacrifices of these persons Chief guest Balwant Singh Mankotia(MLA) stated that it was becusae of their sacrifices India got freedom. He in his address added also appealed the youth to follow their path and to fight against social evils so that peace and prosperity prevails in the society.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Dr. PS Pathania and Prof. NR Sharma. The proceedings of the program was conducted by Suresh Kumar and Priyanka Mangotra where as welcome address was presented by S. Mohinder Pal Singh Pandu. |
