| Narboo toms Nyoma, takes stock of development scenario | | | Early Times Reporter

Executive Councillor, Agriculture & Education Mr. Tsering Norboo Lampa took an extensive tour of Tangtse and Nyoma.
During his visit to Tangtse and Chushul, Mr. Lampa attended the awareness camp conducted by the Animal Husbandry Department where farmers, councillors, officers and experts of the department also participated.
Mr. Lampa urged the people to take benefits from such awareness camps and advised them to follow the treatment instructions given by the experts. He also distributed 150 first aid kits among the farmers.
The Councillor Chushul Mr. Sonam Tsering said that 12 jersey cows on 50 percent subsidy were sold to the farmers by the Animal Husbandry Department on the instructions of hill Council.
During the tour Mr. Lampa also inspected the schools and expressed satisfaction over the functioning of the school. He also distributed 7 computer sets arranged by the army under Sadbavana programme. |
