| Haji assures: Preparations for Santosh Trophy in full swing | | | Early Times Reporter

A meeting of sports Council was held here the other day under the chairmanship of Sports Youth Affairs Minister Haji Nissar Ali. Various issues particularly the Santosh Trophy were sorted out.
The meeting was informed that there would be four grounds where the matches of the trophy would be played in Bakshi Stadium and Polo Ground Srinagar and in Jammu matches would be played at M. A. Stadium Srinagar and GGM Science College. Besides these another half a dozen grounds are being prepared for the trial. The meeting was further informed that major preparations including changing rooms, pavilions, media complexes and other electric and sanitary have been arranged.
Among others Secretary Higher and Technical Education Mr. K. M. Wani, Secretary Sports Council, Mr. Ravinder Gupta and other senior officers of the department were present. |
