| Police Inter Zone sports meet from April, 7 | | | Early Times Reporter

The Jammu and Kashmir Police is organizes a 5-day inter zone sports meet from April 7,2008. Personnel of the department from all the six zones of the state are participating in this annual feature of sports. The mascot of the event is ‘Hangul’ , a state animal, giving a message that “J&K Police striding a head”.
Giving details of the meet a spokes person of the police department said that the idea behind organizing the event is to encourage supports, and prepare police personal atmosphere of de-stress and recreation. He said there would be interaction between jawans and officers posted at different places for sharing their experience in playing on one plateform and feeling of oneness.
Nearly 400 sports persons both male and female will participate in the sports meet. |
