| Expansion, consolidation of Education, Health sectors on priority: Peer | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 5 Minister of State for Health and Education, Peer Mohammad Hussain has said that the basic infrastructure in health and education sectors in newly carved district of Kishtwar would be further improved in order to minimize the problems of the people and the students living in escalated and upper reaches of the district. The Minister was addressing a public gathering at Kishtwar He said apart from upgrading the existing facilities in health and education sector, the government would ensure provision of latest and modern facilities in health and educational institutions. He said several big projects had been approved and certain are under consideration of the government. Peer Hussain said education was given priority in view of its need and importance in the present world of technological race. He said government is committed to take the education in every part of the state, particularly in rural and remote areas, adding free text books, uniform and mid-day meals are being provided to the children admitted in government run schools. He appealed people to take full benefits of the facilities of the government and give education to their children. Regarding improving health care facilities in the district, the Minister directed the CMO, Kashtwar to ensure round the clock presence of doctors and para-medical staff besides availability of free medicines in every health institutions of the district. He asked the CMO that ambulance service should be kept available at district hospital. |
