| Involve all sections of society in democratic process: Farooq | | Haroon joins NC | | Early Times Reporter

Former Chief Minister and National Conference Patron, Dr. Farooq Abdullah stressed the need for strengthening political spectrum of Jammu and Kashmir so that the problems of every section of society get highlighted for the flowering of democracy.
Former Chief Minister was speaking in a function organized for joining of a prominent Gujjar leader Ch. Haroon Rashid here on Sunday.
On the occasion he said that strengthening of political spectrum automatically means the involvement of all sections of society in the democratic process for the overall progress and development of society.
Welcoming Haroon on the occasion, Abdullah expressed confidence that people like Ch. Haroon as and when they join politics strengthen the political spectrum of the state.
On the occasion prominent Gujjar leader Ch. Bashir Ahmed Khatana said that joining of the Ch. Haroon would strengthen the party not only in Jammu district but in other districts of Jammu province as well.
He said Ch. Haroon has done social work for the welfare of the Gujjar and Bakarwal community and he is confident that he will work for the party with great and enthusiasm.
the occasion Ajay Sadhotra, Provincial President J&K National Conference Jammu province also welcomed Ch. Haroon and said that joining of Ch. Haroon will prove to be an asset to the party. |
