A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was killed in an ambush by militants at Dharamsal area in Rajouri on Sunday.
A group of militants opened fire on a BSF party, which was on a routine patrolling; official sources said.
BSF retaliated and engaged the militants in a gun fight, which continued for several hours. A BSF jawan received two bullet injuries and died on the spot, sources said adding, that the militants, however, managed to escape from the spot. |
