| JKAACL organizing exhibition on wood cut prints | | | Early Times Reporter

An art exhibition on wood cut prints, drawings and sculptures by Govind Kour was inaugurated by T.S Bajwa M.P at Kala Kendra here today. Kour’s works on display at Kala Kendra is related to the commoners fiath on Devi. She perceives different forms of Devi as modules of Shakti and Maa, a symbol of love, affection and caretaker and also form of Kali to crush cruelty. Speaking on the occasion, Bajwa appreciated the art work on wood cut by Govind Kour. Secretary cultural academy, which organized the exhibition said, JKAACL is encouraging local talent and is committed to promote art and culture in the state. |
