| 5 years imprisonment in minor kidnapping case | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 4: 3rd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Haq Nawaz Zargar today awarded five years imprisonment to Rakesh involved in kidnapping of minor.
In the report complainant mentioned that his daughter/victim (name withheld) aged 15 years and a student of 9th class was abducted by the accused in order to commit sexual intercourse with her. On the basis of this report, FIR 30/2014 under section 363 RPC came to be lodged.
3rd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Haq Nawaz Zargar after hearing APP Surekha Bhat for the State ordered that accused Rakesh Singh is sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of five years and to pay fine of Rs 2000/- for the commission of offence under section 363 RPC. In default of payment of fine, he shall further undergo simple imprisonment for three months. He shall further sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one year and to pay fine of Rs. 1000/- for commission of offence under section 506 RPC. In default of payment of fine, he shall further undergo simple imprisonment for one month. |
