Jammu, Jan 4: With first of its kind national dance championship being held in the Jammu, there were certainly some loopholes in the event. The event which was scheduled at one particular time was delayed for more than one hour. It was quite astonishing to see that participation certificate was handed over to the participant's way before the programme begun. Parents accompanying their wards were confused as when the show will begin as some children's were hungry but were enthusiastic regarding their performances.
The event started late and continued till afternoon. in between no break was served to the participants giving a wrong impression to the upcoming events. Some children's were seen having meal in the canteen. One of the parent accompanying his child said that we were charged 2500 rupees for this competition but believe me I am going here and there to solve my issue. But do not know whom to talk with. All these people seem to be busy in managing facilities for the chief guest and celebrities.
He added that i am struggling from last couple of days. And, I am here because of my child I want my child to perform well and do the best. He added they were handed the participation certificate way before the event could take place. May be they wanted to save time for the chief guests and judges.
Scores of the children's from across the different states participated in the event and showcased their talent with parents applauding at every moves. |
