| Two unemployed youth duped of Rs 4 lakhs | | CB presents charge sheet against two accused | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 7 Crime Branch today presented charge sheet against the accused, for duping two innocent unemployed youth to the tune of Rs four lakhs for providing government jobs, in the court of law for judicial determination. On receipt of a communication from Under Secretary Irrigation and Flood Control alleging that an appointment order favouring Mohammed Iqbal Parray s/o Ali Mohammed r/o Brakpora Bulbul Nowgam purportedly issued by Commissioner-Secretary PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control bears fake signature of the issuing authority, the Crime Branch took up preliminary investigation resulting in registration of a formal case FIR NO 67/2006. During the course of investigation the appointment order was seized and statement of witnesses recorded. During investigation it emerged that accused Mohammed Yusuf Dar s/o Abdul Rahim r/o Nunwani Brakpora Anantnag in league with an unidentified person introduced as ‘Shah Sahib’ motivated Mohammed Iqbal Parray and other to pay huge sum for their adjustment in government service. Subsequently appointment orders were provided to them which turned out to be fake thereby subjecting them to wrongful loss. On the basis of investigation and available evidence prima facie case of cheating was made out against the accused and the charge sheet of the case was produced before the court of law for judicial determination. |
