| Potential linked plan discussed at Srinagar | | |
Srinagar, August 28, To discuss various aspects of the potential linked credit plan for 2007-08 for Srinagar district, a meeting of district officers and representatives of different financial institutions was held here today under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Syed Sharief-u-din.
During the meeting, the Potential Linked Plan for the year 2007-08 was formulated. The Additional District Development Commissioner stressed upon the officers and financial representatives to cooperate with NABARD in preparation of PLP. He said that the plan should be realistic and all the departments and banks should make efforts to achieve the targets set for them. He also directed for speeding up recovery of loans.
The NABARD representative Dr. B.R. Premi made a detailed presentation on the procedure to be followed in preparation of Potential Linked Plan for the district. He informed that the district credit plan prepared by Lead District Manager will now be based on NABARD, PLP. |
