| Mangat pay obeisance to Jagrati Yatra | | | Earl Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 7 Minister for Health and Medical Education, Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma today visited Rehari Gurdawara and paid obeisance to Jagrati Yatra, where a large number of people of different faiths thronged and pay respect to Guru Grant Sahib which was brought with Guru Maniyo Jagrati yatra. He also had darshan of shastars of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Health Minister said that “all the religions taught and preached for truthfulness, brotherhood, amity and communal harmony. We should follow these teachings and lead a disciplined and pious life”. Mr. Sharma called for strengthen the unity and urged the people to take inspiration from the lifes and teachings of Gurus and imbibe the spirit serving to mankind irrespective of any consideration. He said Guru Maniyo Jagrati yatra is promoting love, brotherhood and harmony adding that people of different faiths had greeted the yatra in large scale at Lakhanpur and other parts of the Jammu. He said people of different faiths shown love and respect for the yatra which was typical of secular ethos of state. He said Jammu and Kashmir was known for communal harmony and brotherhood and had always kept the flag of secularism and communal harmony aloft. |
