| Saroori visits Chatroo, Inderwal | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 7 During extensive tour of district Kishtwar G.M Saroori Minister Tourism, Forest, School Education, Social Welfare and CAPD, today visited Chatroo, Dedpeth and Passerkoot Inderwal. He took stock of various ongoing development works in these areas. He was accompanied by officers of various departments. Minister inaugurated newly upgraded Hr. Secondary School, Mugalmaidan, High School, Inderwal-Passerkoot and SSA building at Depeth. While speaking in a public meeting, Saroori disclosed that the process for engagement of Anganwari workers and helpers under Phase-II would be completed within one month and also declared that an amount of Rs. 35.00 lacs has been sanctioned to J&K women development corporation for upliftment of women in the state and the same would be released after completion of formalities by the concerned. He also disclosed that the work on Chatroo-Synthan road would be accelerated so that the target for its completion could be achieved well in time. The completion of this road would not only explore the tourism potential and improve the trade and business in the area but also provide job opportunities to the unemployed youths. The minister, also visited Drabshalla and Thathri and addressed public meetings at various places and highlighted the efforts of the coalition government and steps taken for development of the state and called upon the people to strengthen hands of congress party for protecting secular character of the country. |
