| Gadda’s book released | | | Early Times Reporter

Glowing tributes were paid to internationally renowed artist late Ghulam Rasool Santosh at a function held at Kala Kendra in connection with to release of a book of late artist of G.R Hassrat Gadda. The book highlighted the contribution of late Santosh in the field of art along with rare photographs.
Speaking on the occasion renowed journalist of the state, Satpaul Sahni said, Santosh who a great artists who by his hard work make name. He said during his earlier days he had a company of Somnath Bhat Pram Kachro and Trilok Koul renowed artist themselves, who encouraged him a lot in this profession. He congratulated Gadda for highlighting the achievements of Santosh.
The function was organizing by J&K cultural academy in collaboration with funkari cultural organization. Among others who spoke on the occasion were Balraj Puri, K.B Jaindyal, R.C Verma, Trilok Koul and Farooq Nozki.
In his welcome address secretary academy Dr. Rafeeq Masoodi said, it is a great honour for academy to remembers this legendary son of the soil, who has constituted a lot in the field of art, etc. proceeding of the function were conducted by Dr. Shahnawaz, before the Galaxy of artist writers and Santosh lovers. |
