The police today produced Captain Chetanya Bhatwadekar as per the direction of Court before the Duty Magistrate with the application for extension of police remand.
Duty Magistrate Mohan Singh Parihar after hearing Senior Prosecuting Officer Jawaid Ahmed Khawaja and also going through the application filed by the police granted five days more police remand of accused Captain Chatanya Bhatwadekar husband of deceased Capt Mega Razdan, who was found hanging on July 1, 2007 at Kunjwani Army Quarters and police initiated investigation in the mysterious death and registered a case U/Ss 306 (abetment) & 498-A (cruelty) RPC. |
