Army have adopted 36 villages along the LOC for door to door survey and giving training to village health worker ,providing them the need based health care including treatment of patients suffering from diabetes, seizures, arthritis, and detecting cancer and Tuberculosis patient for onward treatment if needed .As a part of this project. Smt .Jassi Jaswal wife of Maj Gen.Rjinder Singh 39 DHA Mountain Division inaugurated the newly constructed Primary Health Care at Kalal few meters away from Loc near Nowshara here today .This is a part of their project to provide comprehensive integrated health care services and development schemes in villages along Loc Fence in conjunction with various government agencies .
More than 600 villagers turn up in the function and took the medical facility in the camp organized at Kalal village .Adressing to mammoth gathering of villagers from the region Maj Gen.Rjinder Singh 39 DHA Mountain Division expressed his resolve for overall health enhancement in the region there by contributing to the wider objective of “Khushal Sarhad “.
On the occasion Rafiq Shaikh DC Rajouri shared his concern for health improvement and assured of continued assistance to meet the objectives of this type of army services for the people residing near the fencing .He appreciated the role of of the DHA Mountain Division in its venture
Previously army visited 2860 houses of 48 villages during their survey and gave them door to door treatment by 11 teams constituted by them. |
