| BJP demands CBI probe into allotment of land to Trust | | | Early Times Reporter

Senior leaders of State BJP, Mohan Singh Chouhan, S. Varinder Jeet Singh and Rajnesh Jain, have demanded a CBI probe into the alleged allotment of 25 kanals of land in the name of Radha Krishan Memorial Trust three year ago by Jammu Development Authority.
The trust belongs to a woman legislator of PDP the BJP leaders said and alleged that premium of the land amounting to Rs3. 25 crore has not been paid by it to JDA with mali-fide intentions.
Though the JDA has served notice for cancellation of land but the influential politicians are still exerting their pressure for the allotment of land to the said trust at the throwaway prices as has been reported in the media.
BJP leaders said that the influential people get government land and other facilities in the name of charitable purposes but these benefits are utilized for monetary gains and the poor and deserving people are left high and dry. They demanded that the JDA should immediately retrieve land from the possession of the trust. |
