| Rs 14 cr Udyog Bhavan to be commissioned this month: Jora | | | Early Times Reporter

Minister for Industries and Commerce Nawang Rigzin Jora today inspected Jawahar Lal Nehru Udyog Bhawan at rail head complex being constructed at a cost of Rs.14.48crore.
The seven storied Bhawan spreading over 1, 10, 000 square feet would accommodate 11departments is being commissioned this month.
Minister of State for Industries & Commerce Dr. Ramesh Sharma was also accompanied the Minister.
Addressing the meeting, Jora said that the Government was laying thrust on development of the state. The building is being completed in a record period of 5 months. He also laid stress for expediting the work for ensuring the dead line given by the Chief Minister.
The work on the project which was initially started in the year 1997 was held up due to certain difficulties. But with the intervention of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad it was re-started in November 2007 with five months target of its completion.
Later, the Minister chaired meeting of officers and engineers engaged for the execution of the project. Various issues regarding project were discussed threadbare and suggestions sought. |
