| Div Com reviews arrangements for Sonia’s visit | | | Early Times Reporter

Divisional Commissioner Jammu Mr Sudhanshu Pandey today reviewed the arrangements for the ensuing visit of AIPCC (I) President and UPA ChairpersonSonia Gandhi on April 12, 2008.
During the meeting it was stated that Sonia Gandhi will arrive at Technical Airport Jammu form where she would head for Jagti to inspect the progress of construction of residential quarters for Kashmiri migrants. Thereafter she will proceed to the venue of one day Mahila convention at Jammu.
Pandey asked the officers to ensure foolproof arrangements of security, electricity and drinking water besides arrangements for alternate traffic routes to avoid inconvenience to general public.
Among others, Deputy Commissioner Jammu Hirdesh Kumar Singh, DIG Traffic, SSP Security, City and Traffic, Chief Engineers of R&B and PDD, VC Jammu Development Authority, SE PWD and JDC were present in the meeting. |
