| Rohit Dogra Cricket: RSCC, Unique Club win ties | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 10 Rajeev-Sanjeev Cricket Club (RSCC) and Unique Cricket Club (UCC) won their respective matches to move to the quarterfinals stages in the ongoing Rohit Dogra Memorial Cricket Tournament at Government MAM College, here today. In the first match of the day, UCC trounced Bantalab Cricket Club (BCC) by five wickets. Batting first, BCC bowled out for 61 runs in 17 overs of the 20 overs match, which, in reply, UCC chased with five wickets in hand sparing 1.5 overs of their innings. Daleep Bhan was only bastman, who scored in double figure with 18 runs for BCC while Lucky claimed four wickets for 11 runs to emerge as most successful bowler from UCC. Later, chasing the target, UCC attained the goal in 18.1 overs with five wickets in hand. Dheeraj scored highest 25 runs while Sheetal contributed 11. From BCC, Pawan took two wickets. Lucky was adjudged man of the match for his four-wicket haul. The second match was won by RSCC, who beat Sari Cricket Club (SCC) by four wickets. Batting first, SCC made 89 runs in the allotted 20 overs with Ricky being the top scorer contributing 31. Ravi Turkey took two and Sanjay one for RSCC. In reply, RSCC chased the target in 18.4 overs. Amit made unbeaten 36 runs to be declared as man of the match. |
