| KPs visiting Mata Badrikali on April 14 | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 12 After successful celebration of vith- thruv at Vitasta Verinag in Anantnag district of Kashmir in September last year, this time again the Kashmir Pandits are organizing Havan at Mata Badrikail in Handwara Kashmir on the eve of Ramnavmi for the prosperity and communal amity in the Valley. The yatra which has already left Jammu today will have a night stay at Zeestha Devi Mandir Srinagar and the yatra will move to Tikre tomorrow morning and the Puran Ahuti of the ‘Yagha’ will be performed on April 14 at Badrilkali temple. KP community has great faith on the most ancient temple of goddess ‘Badrikali ’and is a source of inspiration and strength for all those who worship there. It may be recalled that last year same time on the eve of Ramnavmi, a havan was performed at Mata Bidrikali Handwara Kashmir. “We hope that like last year, this year also the local Kashmiri Muslims will welcome their Pandit brethren who will be coming from different parts of Jammu, Kashmir and other parts of the country” said President Shivji Mandir Committee, Handwara . Advocate Bushan Lal Pandita who is the Chairman of Mata Bidrikali Asthahpan committee (MBAC) said that the real home land for Kashmir Pandits is the place where they were born and brought up.” Pandita expressed the hope that the Yatra will lead to restoration of trust between the Kashmiri majority and Kashmiri minority and described the" Yatra’’ a step in the right direction". |
