Samba police has claimed to have seized thirty six pouches of illicit liquor from a person in the area. According to press release in a drive launched against the menace of illicit liquor, Samba Police under the direct supervision of Rajinder Gupta, IPS, SSP and Ram Singh Charak, SDPO Samba arrested one Raj Kumar alias Raju S/o Krishan Chand r/o Jalapar Sumb and recovered 36 pouches of illicit liquor of 250 Ml from his possession. A case under FIR No. 80/2008 U/S 48 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Samba and investigation of the case is in progress. |
