| Mehbooba to tour Jammu region | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

A meeting of senior PDP leaders was held here today under the chairmanship of its General Secretary, Romesh Mottan in which elaborate arrangements for the tour of PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti were discussed and finalized.
The meeting among others was attended by Rafiq Hussain Khan, Nissar Ahmed Khan, Murtaza Khan, Thakur Fallail Singh, Renu Azad, Romesh Koul Executive.
Members, Baldev Singh Slathia, Ashok Sharma, District Presidents, Dr. Keerat, Tarsem Saini, Chuni, Pawan Dev Singh, Thakur Bansi all Zone Presidents, Chaman Angral, Partap Singh and Rajiv Sharma.
It was decided that workers would arrange big public meetings of establishing contacts grass root level. The tour which is beginning from September 20 would culminate on Spetember30, and activists will list primary and burning problems of the people of their areas so that these cold be brought in the notice of the party chief for mitigating at an earliest. Mottan impressed upon the rank and file to make the tour programme ad result oriented.
The meeting also decided to launch, membership drive for the party from August 31 instead of September 4 as publicized earlier. According to the revised programme, membership registration drive will start in whole of the state from August 31. The party chief, Ms. Mufti will flag off the drive in the valley for Kashmir province. While as for Jammu province a senior minister will flag off the drive at Party Head Office.
