| LPG Safety awareness programmes | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 13 Thakur Anant Singh College of Education at Sainik Colony in collaboration with Jammu office of Indian Oil Corporation organized LPG safety awareness programme of their campus for the benefit of the girls students. All student and faculty members attended programme. A detailed lecture on LPG officers and Narinder Sangral of unique Indane stressed was laid upon various parameters related to sale handling and use of LPG in day to day life. Importance of energy conservation and LPG safety was explained to the students present in the programme. They took active part in the quiz competition relating to the LPG safety in the kitchen. Sangral appreciated the efforts put in by Rakesh Panta faculty member of the college in coordinating and conducting the programme. While welcoming the company officials principal of the college Diwakar Singh appreciated the efforts put in by corporation for conducting such educative programmes for the benefit of the LPG consumers. Besides explaining different parameters relating to LPG safety in Kitchen, the main stress was laid to the use of proper quality of LPG hose (gas pipe) Indane officials present in the programme educated the students about the use of only Suraksha LPG hose, besides Suraksha, the participants were also guided about the use of thermal efficient green label LPG stoves through authorized Indane distributor. Live demonstration of putting of all the fire with portable fire fighting equipment developed by the Zenith fire services India was also given on spot. |
