| Salathia kicks off election campaign | | | Early Times Reporter Vijaypur | Apr 14 Criticizing the congress led coalition government in state for its failure to provide respite due to the on going soaring prices of the commodities which are touching sky rocketing prices. The senior National Conference (NC) leader and former minister Surjit Singh Salathia started his election campaign for public meeting in village Palli here today. Speaking on the occasion he said that the congress government is only careful for his chair and has no responsibilities for the general people. Where as the condition of the people is deteriorating day by day and government inspite of tall claims has nothing to do in this regard. He further demand a judicial inquiry about the development work done by the ruling government as well as the concerned MLA. While lambasting on the Congress-PDP coalition government he said the both the parties has promises to provide two job to each household in their manifestoes but no promises has been fulfilled and it was biggest setback to the unemployed and educated youth of the state and as the result, the promise of good governance has been fallen flat and the corruption remain omnipresent. Among others who spoke during the rally were, Ganesh Sharma, Om Parkash, Subash Chander, Bhagwan Singh, Shakti Singh, Ram Pal, Dr. Ram Rattan, Mohinder Gupta and Vijay Singh. |
