| Protests held against Mufti’s currency remarks | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 15 Against the alleged anti-national statements issued by the former Chief minister and PDP chief Mufti Mohd. Sayeed for the allowing Pakistan currency in J&K and more over to support and assurance given by the former Deputy Chief Minister and present Minister for Health and Medical education, Mangat Ram Sharma to reconsider the anti-national demand by a main stream politician, various organizations held violent protest demonstrations, here today . In this regard the activists of Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM), led by State General Secretary and Morcha Prabhari Shamsher Singh Manhas and BJYM Distt President Pranav Gupta today held a massive protest demonstration and burnt the effigy of PDP patron and former Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed and criticized Mangat Ram Sharma for their assertion of allowing use of Pakistani currency in the state and to reconsider his decision.. Shamsher Singh Manhas while addressing the demonstrators said that by making demand of Pakistan’s currency use in J&K, Mufti wants to facilitate and make Pakistan’s subversive activities in the state easier and less cumbersome. The more shameful and very unfortunate is that the Health minister had also assure to reconsider such anti-national demands, he further said that both these parties are promoting the agenda of Pakistan in India. He demanded immediate expulsion of Mufti from the Legislative Council and immediate arrest of both. Meanwhile, a similar protest was organized by the Shiv Sena Hidustan (SSH). While addressing a large number of party supporters, Chairman, SSH, Vipin Hindu said that this it is very shameful that the former Chief Minister and former Deputy Chief Minister are issuing such statements and the centre government is keeping mum on such demands. He urged upon the election commission and the President to initiate stern action against the Mufti and her daughter for spreading Pakistani propaganda in the state as well as in the country also. While condemning Mufti and her daughter for issuing such anti-national, President Shiv Sena J&K, Ashok Gupta also staged a protest demonstration, in this regard and burnt the effigies of the Mehbooba mufti and her father. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Mufti is singing on the tones of Pakistani rulers and the congress party at the centre as well as in state is encouraging the anti national demands of both the father and her daughter by making a mockery of the constitution of India. He also urged upon the President, Pratibha Patel to arrest these leaders for their involvement in anti-national acts and demand that the election commission of the India should ban both the parties from contesting elections. While staging a protest demonstration against the Former Chief minister and former Deputy Chief minister, for issuing such statements, the President, Jammu West Assembly Movement, Sunil Dimple also burnt the effigies of the both the leaders and demand their immediate arrest for raising anti-national issues due to which the integrity, unity and sovereignty of the country is hurting. On the occasion he also criticized the remarks given by the Mehbooba Mufti in the recently held Pugwash Summit, in Pakistan for favoring joint power Sharing Mechanism in the J&K. He also appeals to the Election Commission of India to withdraw the reorganization of PDP, with immediate effect. Meanwhile Panther Party had also demand that the Mufti and her daughter along with the Health Minister, Magat Ram Sharma would be bring under Justice for raising such voices. In a letter written to UPA, Chairman, Sonia Gandhi, The Jammu and Kashmir National Panther Party, Chairman, Bhim Singh had demand criminal action against the Mufti and her daughter for challenging the mandate of Constitution of India and for waging against the union. He further said that mufti had violated the Code of Conduct before the Election Commission of India for challenging the sovereignty, unity and integrity of the Country. |
