To stress upon the state government over implementing the agreement drawn between the government and the employees, the Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) held a massive rally here today.
The rally was led by provincial president EJAC Sanjeev Singh Bali. Large number of employees and workers of the state departments participated. Addressing the protestors, Bali criticized the state administration for betraying the employees by delaying the agreement and said that government wants to create unrest among the employees by not implementing the agreement even after the lapse of two months
He added that due to step-motherly treatment of the government all the employees are deprived of COLA for last many years and as a result the chief minister’s initiative of providing good governance is proved futile.
Among other who spoke on the occasion were, Jagmohan Sadhotra, Abdul Rashid, Amrik Singh Sassan, PP Singh, Umesh Singh, Sushil Kumar and Omkar Sharma.
