Unfair means are allegedly resorted in cantonment election which is to be held on 18 may 2008 by returning officer. Complaining against one contestant namely Rajesh Bakshi S/o Sham Lal Ved contesters of election said that the said candidate who is contesting election from ward No. 1 and 2 has submitted his name which is fake as in school record his name is Rajesh Kumar S/o BK Sham Lal.
The objection has been raised before returning officer but he vehemently rejected, breaching the norms of 26(2) laid down in the election constitution, contesters said. |
