| PETs lodge protest, seeks adjustments | | | Early Times Reporter

The promoted Physical Education Masters (PEMs) held a protest demonstration outside the Sports House, M A Stadium here seeking their adjustments in the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), here today.
Later, a deputation of these PEMs under the banner of All J&K Physical Education Teachers Association called on the Director DYSS, Ravinder Gupta and apprised him of their grievances.
Giving a patient hearing to the visiting teachers, the Director assured them that their demands will be highlighted before the Minister for Sports in an already scheduled meeting on April 19.
Meanwhile, in a handout issued here today, the Association has appealed the Physical Education Teachers of Jammu Division to assemble at Directorate office on April 21.
The delegation which met the Director was comprised of Ravi Sharma, Jugal, Narain Singh, Banarasi Lal, Chamail Signha and Nirmal Singh. |
