Kashyap Sports Club has planned to host a triangular series end of this month by dividing 36 probable short-listed during the Rohit Dogra Memorial Cricket Tournament into three different teams.
The club has named three teams as Kashyap Blues, Kashyap Reds and Kashyap Greens with 12 players each as also a coach and manager.
“The event will be hosted by the Club soon after the final of Rohit Dogra memorial tournament at an suitable venue within the city,” general secretary of Kashyap Sports Club, Rajesh Dhar told Sports & Allied News.
Adding he said, “These 36 players have been selected from 16 participating teams in Rohit Dogra memorial tournament. And, after the triangular series, the probable list shall be reduced to 20 players only.”
The shortlisted boys, according to Rajesh Dhar shall represent four affiliated clubs (five in each club) of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) namely Kashmir Cricket Club, Whites Cricket Club, Rainawari Cricket Club and Srinagar Cricket Club. A coach and manager for each team have also been nominated, he informed.

Kashyap Blues: Ravi Pandita (Captian), Suman Koul (vice-captain), Rahul Choudhary, Abhinav Kaw, Amit Sharma, Rakesh Raina, Akshay Koul, Rohit Pandita, Vikram Singh Manhas, Ritesh Singh Manhas, Vinay Malhotra, Vishal Singh. Manager: Rajeev Pandita. Coach: Sanjay Raina.
Kashyap Reds: Rahul Mattoo (captain), Vikas Raina (vice-captain), Sunil Bali, Sahil Kotru, Vinay Kumar, Nanu, Provin Bhat, Sahil Raina, Rakesh, Ajay Kumar, Deepu, Puneet Bhat. Manager: Vinod Koul. Coach: Ajay Raina.
Kashyap Greens: Sanjay Koul (captain), Ashu Bazaz (vice-captain), Anku Chib, Dheeraj Singh, Rakesh Bhan, Sheetal Singh, Anil Dhar, Rockey Raina, Veenu, Naresh Rakhwal, Vaneet Dhar, Luckey Singh. Manager: Rakesh Pandita. Coach: M K Pandita. |
