Website of University of Jammu selected for ACR Award for prestigious ACU PR Marketing and Communication Awards.
Addressing media persons, Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Director, Centre for Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning informed that Website of University of Jammu have been selected for for prestigious ACU PR Marketing and Communication Awards. "The Centre for Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning had applied for the '2007 Association of Commonwealth Universities PR, Marketing and Communications Awards' under the category: Websites," Dr Meenaksi Kilam said adding that the University of Jammu is the only University from India to be selected among five Universities in the world for this Award.
She said that the centre has just received communication from the Association of Commonwealth Universities that the University has been selected for ACU PR, Marketing and Communications Award under Website Category. Universities from all over the world had applied for this award and ACU is organizing the ACU PR Marketing and Communication Awards presentation Ceremony and global conference of the ACU's PR, Marketing and Communication Network from 14th-16th July 2008 in Durban, South Africa and a representative from our University will attend the function as a winning entrant.
Highlighting other achievements of Varsity, Dr Meenakshi Kilam said that University of Jammu gets the Centre for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy competing against 70 universities including JNU, Jamia Milia and Aligarh Muslim University in the final Presentation round. Prof. J.R.Panda represented the University of Jammu. |
