Against alleged large scale embezzlement in the funds meant for development in the social welfare department, the activist of Jammu and Kashmir Gujjar Conference (JKGC) held a massive protest here today. Speaking on the occasion, president JKGC, Anam Chowdhary alleged that during the tenure of minister of social welfare Abdul Gani Vakil, their was embezzlement of crores of rupees, meant for development. The protestors also burnt the effigy of the minister and demanded an enquiry into all such development works started by the said minister. |
