| Militants hold secret meeting in Muzzafrabad, new terror team formed | | | Aijaz Qazmi Poonch | Apr 16 To revitalize the rank and file and boost terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir, the terror organizations and their masters across the border have decided to set up a new organizational structure and device new tactics. Top sources revealed that in order achieve this objective, inter services intelligence of Pakistan had called a major meeting in Muzzrafad in Pakistan occupied Kashmir few days. This meeting was reportedly attended by top militant commanders irrespective of the militant outfits they belonged. A major fall out of the meeting, sources said, was the formation of a new team which will control and command all the militant activities in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting held under the presidentship of Moin Din, chief operations commander, is reported to have reiterated its resolve to continue the 'Jehad' in the state and strengthen the movement. Sources said the top leaders present in the important meeting and assigned new positions include monetary advisor, Rafiqul Islam, Divisional Commander, North Kashmir, Khaliluqur Rehman, Central Spokesman Khaliliur Rehman, Divisional Commander South Kashmir, Wajahat Din, Divisional Commander Central Kashmir, Atiqur Rehman, Divisional Commander Chenab division Mahmood Ghaznavi, Divisional commander Pir Panchal, Sadaqat Ullah and Divional Commander, Doda Mushtaqul Din. The new team comprising of the above said commanders is reported to have been asked to give a fillup to the recruitment drive, as militant numbers have been drying due to actions taken by the armed forces. Matter of restarting the 22 training camps which are now lying defunct in Pakistan occupied Kashmir near the border is also reported to have been discussed in the meeting. It has apparently been decided that these terror schools will be restarted as they played an important role in mind washing. Another important disclosure is that the number of trained terrorists, who are waiting to cross over to this side of border after the onset of summer is more than 800. The terrorists entering India have been asked to step up attacks on the Indian security forces and public installations, with elections slated in the state this year. Interestingly, it is twice the number which was quoted by the Indian defence sources few days back as it had put the number of militants waiting to enter Jammu and Kashmir at around 400. It was quoted by top defence sources that more 400 militants are stationed in launching pads in Pakistan occupied Kashmir ready to cross over to this side of border. It was also mentioned that infiltration was likely to increase in Rajouri-Poonch sector of Jammu region and remote Gurez in Kashmir. |
