| Khajuria asks CM to provide details of ‘vested interests’ | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 17 Expressing his satisfaction over the CM's statement at Ganderbal wherein he had revealed that certain political leaders, government officials and most media persons have developed a nexus aimed at looting the state exchequer, President Bhartia Janta Party has today asked the chief Minister to provide detailed list of the people having dangerous nexus inimical to restoration of peace and tranquility in the state under Right to information act. In a letter to Chief Minister, Ashok Khajuria while appreciating his courage and determination has asked him to furnish a detailed report about the politicians, bureaucrats and media personalities involved in the nexus. "Though the BJP is appreciative of your courage and determination to keep a close watch on the activities of the said politicians, government officials and media persons, it is perturbed over your decision of not disclosing the names of such mischievous elements in your administration and political establishment and in the fourth estate," Khajuria said. The letter reads that the BJP would have appreciated CM's stand all the more, had he as head of the government and the one who knows everything about everyone, made the names of such elements public. "By not disclosing their names, your government has sent a signal that it is weak and incapable of taking on such elements," he said. |
