New Era Public School celebrates annual day

Minister for Health and Medical Education Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma has urged the student community to equip themselves with modern education and infuse in themselves the spirit of moral values to become good and responsible citizen of tomorrow. However, he said that to make the mission of education a success, a teacher has a pivotal role to play for exploring the inner being of a child and to polish it in a proper manner. He said that the teacher has to make the student believe that with hard work, even aiming at the skies is possible. “Qualitative education coupled with the spirit of confidence is the hallmark for making the child a success story”, he maintained.
The Minister was addressing students, parents and teachers at the annual day function of New Era Public School here today.
Appreciating the role of private institutions for imparting best and quality education to the students, he said that the endeavour of these institutions will not go unnoticed and these would be provided with every sort of assistance to make them more vibrant and result oriented.
Underlining the exemplary measures taken by the government for developing the infrastructure of education sector, he said numerous new schools, colleges, ITIs and other vocational institutions were set up across the state to improve the sector in the state. He said that the teachers who perform in distinguished manner would not go unrewarded and stressed upon them to cooperate with government whole heartedly for materializing the dream of education.
He also distributed mementos among the meritorious students who have excelled in various academic and other related activities.
A scintillating colourful cultural programme was presented by the students depicting the rich cultural ethos of the society on the occasion.
Earlier, the Minister also lighted the traditional lamp to mark the event.
