Nirdosh Uppal Joint Secretary in a hand out said that the workers are struggling for the last three months for clearance of their pending wages of last seven months besides release of 17 points of COLA in their favour. Uppal claimed that the workers are on fast unto death inside the mine for the last ten days. He criticized the management and the government for delaying the payment of well earned wages to the workers.
