While expressing resentment over Mufti’s statement on dual currency, Hindu Shiv Sena has demanded arrest of former chief minister Mufti Mohd. Sayeed.
Addressing a press conference here today president HSS Krishan Manhas Singh alleged that Congress and PDP are playing political games and in order to attract the attention of people are giving anti national statements like the finance minister demanded separate currency in state, Mehbooba Mufti demanded power sharing mechanism in Kashmir under the control of both countries and now Mufti is demanding to allow use of dual currency in state.
He further added that since all the demands are anti-national and by demanding such things the PDP is challenging the accession of state with India as well as sovereignty of the country.
He urged upon the governor of state to initiate stern action against the PDP leader under the constitution of state and demanded his immediate arrest.
Speaking on the occasion, he also declared that the party is going to organize a violent protest outside the official residence of former CM and PDP patron Mufti for his anti Indian remarks, and will also burn the effigies of Mufti and his daughter.
He also demanded an impartial enquiry into entire episode of the Rubiya Sayeed kidnapping case under the retired judge of Supreme Court.
