| BJP seeks dismissal of Govt | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 19 State BJP chief Ashok Khajuria has urged upon the governor to dismiss the Congress-led coalition in the state. While addressing a protest dharna organized by distt unit pRajesh Gupta, today at Shalamar Chowk against the alleged silence of the Congress over the anti-national utterances made by the PDP leaders from time to time, Khajuria lambasted the Congress for allowing the subversive PDP leaders like Mufti Mohd. Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti to launch an anti-India campaign in and outside India. He said the BJP, which has been carrying on a relentless campaign to neutralize the baneful influence of the Congress-PDP alliance on the Indian polity, will further intensify its campaign and educate the public opinion about the implications of what this alliance is doing to harm the national cause and deprive the patriotic people of Jammu and Ladakh and displaced Kashmiri Hindus of their legitimate and due share in the state’s political and economic processes. Khajuria also informed the BJP activists that the central leaders of the BJP also adopted a political resolution yesterday on the dubious role being played by the Congress and PDP and added that the BJP at the highest level has taken a serious exception to the anti-India propaganda being launched by the PDP. Khajuria urged the State Governor to discharge his constitutional obligations and dismiss the Congress led government in the state forthwith so that the state is freed from the clutches of the undesirable elements. Distt. President Rajesh Gupta, expressing his grave concern over the liberty granted to Mufti Mohd. Sayeed and his daughter Mehbooba Mufti by the Congress-led governments at the centre and in the state, said that the recent developments has exposed the real face of the Congress and one thing is crystal clear now that Congress and PDP are the two faces of the same coin. Failure on part of the Prime Minister and the State Chief Minister to take any action against PDP leaders should leave no one in any doubt that there is some secret understanding between these two parties and that Congress is more concerned to remain in power and its personal interests are above the unity and integrity of the country. |
