A lineman falls from an electric pole and died on the spot at Village Machrala, here this afternoon.
Identified as Joginder Raj son of Prakash Chand resident of Khor Sajwal was executing repair work when he falls down to death.
Sources said that the lineman was called by some locals for repairing the electricity supply line as the village was not having electricity since last night.
Soon after he finished his work his foot slipped from the base and fell down. He was immediately shifted to hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. |
