| Dubious shootout in Bari Brahmna | | | Early Times Reporter

In a broad daylight incident of shootout which is perceived by many as stage managed, one person sustained injuries while Police have launched proceedings to probe the case.
One Bhagwan Das son of Tilak Raj of Marala Chak Bishnah claimed that two Tata Indica Car borne youth fired few shot at him on the main road near Pahalwan Food Mall in Bari Barhmna.
However, sources said that incident happened inside a Dhaba near Bari Brahmna Railway Station. The Dhaba is owned by one Ashwani Datta. Bhagwan Dass is reported to have a land dispute with Ashwani and the case is already being looked into by Police.
Ashwani, sources said, was recently left critically injured when he was attacked by some 16 persons in Bari Barhmna area.
Police said that the injured in his statement has said that he was on way back to home after when two persons stopped his car and asked him to get down outside the Food Mall.
Police has registered a case in this regard and launch a manhunt to nab the culprits involved in the shoot-out. |
