| Top HM commander arrested | | | Early Times Reporter

Police today claimed to have arrested a top militant Commander belonging to HM outfit from a village in Kulgam when he was trying to leave valley for Jammu.
Police sources quoting Superintendent of Police Kulgam , SP Pani, told KMT that on specific information Police on Sunday apprehended one top ranking militant of HM at village Vessue near Kazigund in South Kashmir when he was ready to leave for Jammu.
He said that The militant had, crossed LOC in year 1992 and returned back to valley in year 200 after receiving subversive training in Pakistan and since then he was active in Kulgam district but after the elimination of many commanders and militants of HM outfit in Kulgam he left Kulgam and went to Srinagar where he stayed for few months and was now trying to move towards Jammu.
The apprehended militant is identified as Sabzar Ahmed Waza alias Basharat alias Usman in vessu Qazigund area.
He said that the militant was involved in many militancy related activities and was wanted list of police.
On his disclosure one Pistol One AK rifle and one sniper have been recovered so far, he added. |
