| Megh Sudhar Sabha to celebrate Kabir Jayanti on June 18 | | | Early Times Reporter

All Jammu and Kashmir Megh Sudhar Sabha has decided to celebrate Kabir Jayanti throughout the district with great fervor and gaiety on June 18. The main function is being organized at Kabir Mandit Old Rehari here.
This was stated at a joint conference by President MR Bhagat and Mahila Wing President Chand Bhagat here today.
They disclosed that on June 15, a Shobha Yatra (Jhanki) will also be taken out from Kabir Mandir which will pass through various areas of the city.
They demanded that the Kabir Jayanti should be declared as a gazetted holiday besides reserving 33 per cent seats to women in political bodies.
The Sabha leaders also announced the office bearers of its Jammu District Committee. Subash Bhagat has been nominated as Jammu district president and Sewa Ram and Satpaul as Vice Presidents. Mohinder Kumar has been nominated as General Secretary while Ram Kumar has been appointed as Cashier.
The Sabha authorities the newly elected district president to fill up pother posts of the committee.
Surinder Bhagat, General Secretary of the Sabha, Subash Bhagat. Manohar Lal Bhagat, Girdhari Lal Bhagat and Gulab Chand were also present at the press conference. |
