The annual Dr. Surindur Singh Memorial Golf Tournament was organized at BSF Golf Course Paloure here today in which a record 74 golfers from BSF, Army, J&K Police, officers of civil administration and other dignitaries took part.
The tournament is being organized in the memory of late Dr Surindur Singh who served as IG BSF in Jammu for three and a half years and laid the golf course.
Earlier, A K Surollia, President of the club and other participants paid floral tributes to late Dr Surindur Singh.
The winners of the tournament were awarded prizes by Mrs Surollia, Vadhera and Mrs Surindur Singh.
Raja Alias Ali of JKP, JB Sangwan ADIG (G) BSF, D S Sandhu, 21 C BSF, Dinesh Wahi, Dinesh Chopra, Kuldeep Khoda, DGP, Karish Bal, Col Balbir Singh and Raghav Wahi were declared winners of the tournament.
In the ladies putting Shashi Sangwan was declared as the winner, Rachira Dev runnder and Neelam Sahi as second runner. |
